On Sunday night WWE announced that Andrade had been released from his WWE contract, and since then the wrestling world has been showing support for Andrade on social media.
Current WWE star Aleister Black feuded with Andrade during his time in NXT, and he even defeated Andrade to become NXT Champion. Following news of Andrade’s release he sent a heartfelt message to his former rival when he posted the following:
“@AndradeElIdolo goes synonymous with my WWE career. My 1st opponent & the opponent I won the belt from. From start to finish a total pro and in my opinion few have his footwork, ability to commit and execute in-ring techniques. Amigo, thank you for everything.”
Andrade responded by telling Black that they will meet again in a few years.
“We will meet again in a ring in a few years, you are a great talent and a good friend. a big hug Tommy End 👊🏼☠️.”
It was recently reported that Andrade does not have a non compete clause and that he is able to take dates with other wrestling companies starting immediately.
