Alberto Del Rio Being Investigated For Allegedly Roughing Up A Female Companion

Former WWE Champion Alberto Del Rio is currently wrestling as Alberto El Patron in Global Force Wrestling, and he’s the Global Force Wrestling Champion. Alberto is always at the center of some sort of controversy, and he recently challenged The New Day and Triple H to a fight. Alberto is known for his temper, and now his temper is causing even more problems for him.

PWInsider reports that Alberto was detained at the airport in Orlando, and missed an independent event he was booked for yesterday in Texas. PWInsider reached out to the Orlando police who responded with the following statement:

“There was an incident at Orlando International Airport at about 3 p.m. Sunday involving Jose Rodriguez (DOB 5/25/1977) The reported incident was a domestic violence battery, and it is still under investigation. No arrests have been made as of this time, but the case remains open. That is all the information we have for release at this time.”

TMZ is also reporting that Alberto Del Rio, real name Jose Rodriguez, was involved in an altercation at the Orlando airport where he “allegedly roughed up a female companion.”

Witnesses claim that Alberto was arguing with a woman in the terminal and the cops were called after the situation escalated.

The police would not confirm the name of the alleged victim, but witnesses are claiming that Paige was spotted with Alberto at the airport. Although Alberto was detained at the airport, no arrests have been made in the investigation.
