Alberto El Patron Says He Was Screwed By Impact Wrestling

Alberto El Patron stormed into Impact Wrestling’s Bound For Glory event and he was not a happy camper.

The former Alberto Del Rio took the ring and cut a scathing promo about Impact Wrestling while really blurring the line between shoot and work. He said the company screwed him by suspending him without listening to the facts. He seemed angry and wants his Impact Global Championship back.

This is going to be a great angle from the way it’s being booked so far. So don’t be surprised if it ends with Alberto El Patron holding Impact Wrestling’s top title again very soon.

He certainly seems to be going with a lot of momentum. But it might be a curious booking decision to reveal so much and push a guy who is using a domestic abuse situation as the crux of his heat.

During his intense promo, Alberto El Patron said:

“Stop the music just for one second,” Alberto said in his promo while the arena filled with Si chants. “Am I hearing ‘si, si, si?’ You know something? I should be completely happy tonight because El Patron, El Patron is back in Impact Wrestling! But there’s something wrong. There’s something wrong and I want to tell you, I want to give you a little history lesson. I joined this company at the beginning of this year and since I came to Impact Wrestling all I heard from the people in the office, from the people hiding back there [points toward the back of the building] was ‘Alberto you’re amazing, Alberto you’re the man, Alberto you’re brilliant!’ Thanks to this sacred ring that we have never seen before.”

“And I did and after bleeding, crying, bleeding, sobbing for this company and after leaving my heart and my soul in this ring for this company and for all of you. Do you wanna know what this company, those cowards hiding back there — do you wanna know what those people did to me? Hold on Canada, hold on I’ll tell you. Do you want to know what those perros did to me? They screwed me!”

“They betrayed me! Because they have no cojones, backstabbers in the back! And just because they decided to believe all the crap. To believe all the lies instead of sticking to the facts and reading the reports and the reports would tell you I didn’t do anything!”

“I didn’t do anything but they still suspended me! You, they still stopped paying me. They took my title away from me! And now we have a new champion, a paper champion walking around like he’s a big thing but you perro, you have to defeat the real champion right here!”

“And people I’m not talking about the reports from the fans, the internet I’m talking about official reports from authorities but this place they still didn’t care about my three little babies!” Alberto went on to list his children and rile the crowd up even more.

As you can see by the video below, Alberto’s promo got pretty intense and Alberto El Patron certainly made a statement when he threatened to take out Jeremy Borash in a display that was suspensful and intimidating.

It is certainly an interesting way to go about things but if they’re going to pull the curtain back and make Impact Wrestling Great Again by making it look very real. It also looks like Alberto El Patron is going to be portraying a very interesting character on screen in the months to come.
