Alberto Del Rio Talks About WWE Trying To Replace Rey Mysterio

Del Rio spoke with WrestleTalk TV about the shift, and WWE trying to replicate the success of Mysterio:

“There’s nobody bigger than Rey Mysterio. He’s the biggest superstar to ever come from Mexico,” Del Rio said. “My wife even said Rey Mysterio is God, and you’re the devil. Even my wife put me in second place.”

On Mysterio helping him in WWE:

“He’s an amazing guy, he gave me the opportunity to be in WWE,” Del Rio said. “He said that if he was going to do the job, I was the guy he wanted to do it for.”
