Alberto Del Rio has been pulled from this weekend’s WWE live events according to PWInsider. This is the second week in a row that Del Rio has been pulled from advertised live events. Although he was pulled from last week’s live events, Del Rio was present for Raw but he was not at the SmackDown tapings on Tuesday.
It’s been previously reported that Alberto Del Rio is dealing with a lower back injury so it’s possible that WWE is giving him time to rest before WrestleMania 32. But the reason why he was pulled from the live events is unconfirmed at this point.
WWE has announced that this year’s Money in the Bank pay-per-view will take place at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada on June 19th.
