Alberto Del Rio On People Calling Wrestling Fake, TNA Impact Viewership, Paul Ellering Requests Match

Alberto Del Rio recently spoke to NDTV about his wrestling career, video games and more. You can check out the full interview here along with a quote below.

“If someone thinks wrestling is fake… the storylines sure, but the matches are real. And if someone says I don’t watch wrestling because it’s fake, well, would you like to try doing it first?”

This week’s episode of TNA Impact which was the live Destination X special drew 358,000 viewers according to ShowBuzzDaily.com. Viewership for this week’s episode was down from the 410,000 people who tuned in to watch The Final Deletion last week. As noted, last week’s episode drew the highest viewership for TNA Impact since the show moved to POP TV.

WWE recently posted a new video featuring Paul Ellering having a meeting with NXT General Manager William Regal. In the video Ellering tells Regal that he doesn’t want the Authors of Pain to start at the bottom and he requests a match with American Alpha.

Regal grants his request and tells him that the match will happen on NXT next week.
