According to PWInsider Alberto Del Rio was making it well known at Raw that he would not be signing a new contract with WWE when his current deal expires.
The report says that he’s frustrated with the fact that he’s been fed to Batista considering he was once a top star on the SmackDown brand. Alberto Del Rio has mentioned retirement a few times in the past few years so it will be interesting to see what comes of this.
No official word yet on when his contract expires but it’s believed to be in the next few months.
