AJ Styles is the current WWE Champion, so it’s safe to say he’s in a pretty good spot on SmackDown Live. However, prior to his shift to SmackDown, Styles was hanging with Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson, but The Club was split up when Styles was drafted.
Now Gallows and Anderson have aligned themselves with Finn Balor on Raw, and fans are wondering if Styles could enter the mix at some point.
Styles recently spoke to IGN about The Club reunion, and he said that he has his eyes on the group, and he’d like to think that they could all end up working together eventually.
“It is what it is, I guess, as far as the way things are supposed to happen. Even though I had my own reunion with them shortly after I arrived, and its in the story, I’m not even with those guys right now. They’re on RAW and I’m on SmackDown and I’m kind of doing my own thing by myself. But those three guys being together is something special because, truth be told, those were the three guys who were originally together. If I could look into the future or try to predict things. I’d like to think that maybe we can all be together doing something. At some point. But you never know where things are going to lead, but right now I’m very interested in what I’m seeing.”
AJ Styles, Luke Gallows, Karl Anderson and Finn Balor all have a rich history together due to their time together in Japan, but it’s a history that WWE has only touched on briefly.
It’s understandable due to the fact that WWE didn’t have anything to do with the formation of The Bullet Club, and the stable remains arguably the most popular group outside of WWE.
However, a storyline involving all four WWE Superstars is ripe for the picking, and it would be a shame if WWE officials don’t take advantage of the opportunity that’s right in front of them.
In any case, Finn Balor seems to be on his way back up now that he’s aligned with Gallows and Anderson, and AJ Styles is the WWE Champion. So, everyone seems to be doing well, and there’s no telling what the future might hold for The Club.
