AJ Styles is the current WWE Champion, and so far we’ve seen a lot of dream matches for AJ Styles since he joined WWE. SmackDown Live General Manager Daniel Bryan was recently cleared to return to the ring, and now fans are hoping to see The Phenomenal One face off against Bryan in a WWE ring someday.
During a recent interview with Sports Illustrated, AJ was asked about a possible dream match with Bryan, and he made it clear that he’s game.
“Shoot, now that he’s cleared, who knows when Daniel Bryan and I will have the opportunity to get in the ring together?” asked Styles. “But who knows when I’ll get in the ring with Seth Rollins, or again with Finn Balor, or even Randy Orton? There are guys I have yet to get in the ring with, but now that Daniel Bryan is cleared and ready, he’s in line. Who knows what’s going to come first? There are a lot of great things that will happen in the next couple years.”
Styles once again insisted that everything is fine in regards to his injury, and he declared that he will be wrestling Shinsuke Nakamura at WrestleMania 34.
He also said that he and Shinsuke are both on the same page in regards to what they want to accomplish with their match.
“Shinsuke has the same mindset,” said Styles. “He wants this to be one of the greatest matches in WrestleMania history. I don’t know if we’re going to reach that level, but we’re certainly going to try.”
There are still plenty of big matches for AJ in WWE, and on WrestleMania Sunday we’re going to see one of them.
