CM Punk refers to himself as the Voice of the Voiceless, and back in June he took to Twitter to speak out on racial injustice when he posted the following:
“Lotta people snitching on themselves. When people tell you who they are, believe it. Might be unfortunate and disappointing if you’re a fan of that person, or if it’s your grandmother, but fuck ‘em. Good bye! (I yield my time, fuck you.)”
A fan then responded and said it was hard to watch AJ Styles promote his streams while he stayed silent about racial injustice issues. The fan then noted that they unfollowed AJ Styles.
Punk took a shot at The Phenomenal One in a now deleted tweet when he replied with, “Well come on. That one has been obvious for years.”
AJ Styles then said he wouldn’t react because he doesn’t respect Punk, but he recently explained during a Twitch stream why he doesn’t feel CM Punk is worth his time.
“I’m all about business and some people I don’t think are capable of doing good business. It’s that simple. He’s not worth my time. This guy just likes to get attention, even if it’s bad.”
