AJ Styles is the WWE Champion, and one of WWE’s top stars. Ever since AJ Styles joined WWE in 2016, he’s been a big player on the main roster. But as we all know, nothing lasts forever, and Styles recently hinted that he’s thinking about retiring in a couple of years.
“Work hard now, you enjoy it later,” Styles said during a recent interview. “In a couple of years, I’ll be able to catch every football game, every baseball game, every basketball game, cheerleading, gymnastics, whatever they’re in.”
Even though he’s thinking about the endgame, that doesn’t mean the WWE Champion is looking to hang up his boots any time soon.
Apparently there’s been a rumor going around claiming that Styles is looking to retire for good after WrestleMania 34 next year, but Styles himself has confirmed that’s not the case.
The WWE Champion responded to a fan commenting on the rumor and he simply said that it’s wrong.

This is wonderful news because even though AJ Styles is 40 years old, he still has a lot of gas left in the tank and he’s been performing at a very high level over the past few years.
At this point it’s not known who Styles will be facing at WrestleMania 34, but his opponent at WrestleMania won’t be his last.
