AJ Styles And Shinsuke Nakamura Team Up After SmackDown, US Title Match Official For Backlash

On the SmackDown Live after WrestleMania 33, two time NXT Champion Shinsuke Nakamura was finally called up to the main roster. Shinsuke has been used sparingly on Tuesday nights so far, and this week he didn’t appear on the show at all.

However, Shinsuke Nakamura did appear in front of the crowd after 205 Live went off the air, as he teamed up with AJ Styles and Randy Orton to take on the team of Erick Rowan, Dolph Ziggler and Jinder Mahal.

That’s right folks, AJ Styles and Shinsuke Nakamura were in a WWE ring together Tuesday night. According to fans in attendance the team of AJ, Randy and Shinsuke defeated Erick, Dolph and Jinder to send the crowd home happy.

You can check out a few photos and a video of Shinsuke Nakamura’s entrance below.

Chris Jericho shocked the world Sunday night when he defeated Kevin Owens to win the United States Championship at Payback. Unfortunately Jericho’s reign didn’t last long, as Owens won the title back on SmackDown this week.

Kevin Owens will now go on to defend the belt against AJ Styles at Backlash later this month.
