AJ Styles Says He’s Signed His Last Contract With WWE

AJ Styles quickly became one of WWE’s top stars when he joined the company at the Royal Rumble in 2016, and since then he’s managed to win the WWE Championship twice.

Heading into WrestleMania 35, AJ Styles’ contract status was a hot topic in the wrestling community, but ultimately he ended up signing a new deal with WWE.

The Phenomenal One recently spoke to Newsweek about his future, and he noted the most recent contract he signed will be his last.

“I can tell you that this contract that I’ve signed is my last. This is the perfect place for me to be. It’s family-oriented, I have no problem taking my family to the shows. It’s a PG product, which I enjoy. I’m in the best place I can be for my career.”

Styles has accomplished a lot throughout the course of his career, but he still has a few goals he wants to check off his list, including a run with the Universal Championship.

“Being the Universal Champion, obviously. There’s a lot of things I want to do and they don’t involve having every belt I can. That’s not what it is. I want to be a household name. I want them to know that when they hear my name they think WWE or when they hear WWE they think AJ Styles. I want to be entertaining and take it to the next level. I want to make people watching from home laugh out loud. There’s a lot of things I want to do and they don’t always revolve around championships. Just to go out there and entertain.”

This week on Raw AJ Styles slapped Baron Corbin in the face, so it appears that he’ll be feuding with the former Raw General Manager going forward.
