Sunday night AJ Styles walked down the WrestleMania entrance ramp for the second time in his career, and his match at WrestleMania 33 ended when he pinned Shane McMahon and defeated the Commissioner of SmackDown Live.

Shane McMahon and AJ Styles have been in heated rivalry for weeks now, and AJ has been going off on the SmackDown Live authority figure because AJ wants another shot at the WWE Championship. Bray Wyatt defended his WWE Championship against Randy Orton at WrestleMania 33, and in the end it was Randy Orton who walked away with the belt.
Now that Styles has a big WrestleMania victory over Shane McMahon, he’s made it clear that his focus is on the WWE Championship, and he’s going to be coming after the current champion.
Shane McMahon took his loss to AJ Styles like a man and after the match he was asked about his thoughts on Styles. Shane says AJ brought his A-game to WrestleMania 33, and he’s a “special talent.”
According to Shane McMahon his match with AJ Styles won’t change the way he treats Styles on SmackDown and he’s going to try and keep things professional. He was told that AJ wants a title shot, and Shane said that he’s sure he’ll get it.
