Next week’s episode of SmackDown Live is going to be a loaded show and it will feature two championship matches. It was announced on SmackDown this week that The Usos will defend their Tag Team Titles against Chad Gable and Shelton Benjamin in England, and earlier today Shane McMahon announced that Jinder Mahal will be defending the WWE Championship against AJ Styles.
The announcement created a unique situation, as AJ was previously scheduled to face Rusev in a qualifying match for the SmackDown Live Survivor Series team.
WWE has yet to announce whether the match will still be happening, but Rusev seems to think that he’s all set for Survivor Series.
The Bulgarian Brute took to Twitter to tell everyone that #RusevDay is heading to Survivor Series.
I’m so good. @AJStylesOrg already quit. Hahahahahah. Go team Smackdown. #RusevDay is coming to #SurvivorSeries

Jinder Mahal has been successfully defending his WWE Championship ever since he defeated Randy Orton at Backlash a few months ago, and The Singh Brothers have helped to keep the gold around the champ’s waist.
It seems that AJ Styles is keeping that fact in mind heading into Tuesday’s title match.
I’m sure he’ll bring his two cronies…
I’ll bring a Phenomenal Forearm and a Styles Clash. #AndNew #SDLive https://t.co/l8TU0yKf5w— AJStyles.Org (@AJStylesOrg) November 2, 2017
AJ will have to watch his back, because as we’ve seen before, Jinder knows how to capitalize on a distraction from the Singh Brothers, and he says he’s going to make an example out of AJ Styles next week.
When @AJStylesOrg attacked me 2 weeks ago on #SDLive, no repercussions. But that's fine, he will be made an example out of… again.
