AJ Styles Reveals NXT Superstar He Wants To Win WWE Tag Team Titles With

AJ Styles officially joined the WWE roster back in 2016, and since then he’s held championship gold numerous times.

However, The Phenomenal One pointed out during a recent Twitch stream that he has yet to win the tag team titles.

It seems that Styles is looking to add a tag team title reign to his resume at some point, and he noted that Finn Balor is someone who he would want to team with.

“You know, the only championship I haven’t held in WWE is the tag team championships. If I’m able to find a partner at some point, and win those, I will have won all the belts in WWE. [Finn would make a great partner] but he’s in NXT and I’m on SmackDown, so I don’t know how that would ever work. Listen, whether I have to go down to NXT or he has to come to SmackDown, I’m willing to do that. I mean, shoot, it would be fun, and different is good.”

AJ Styles also praised Adam Cole, and named both Cole and Velveteen Dream as NXT stars he thinks he could have good matches with.
