AJ Styles Reveals His Favorite WrestleMania Moment, Talks Kurt Angle In The Hall Of Fame

AJ Styles made his WrestleMania debut at WrestleMania 32 in 2016, and it was a big moment for Styles. After spending years working on the independent scene, Styles finally arrived at the show of shows and for fans who have followed his career closely, it was somewhat surreal to see him walk down the WrestleMania entrance ramp.

During his time on the independent scene, AJ Styles worked with many of today’s top stars including Seth Rollins and Samoa Joe. During a recent media conference call Styles revealed that Seth Rollins cashing in his Money in the Bank briefcase at WrestleMania 31 was his favorite WrestleMania moment (via SportsKeeda).

“When Seth Rollins cashed in his Money in the Bank, that was a pretty big moment. To see a guy that I wrestled so many years on an indie show, and to see him get the WWE Championship is pretty amazing.”

AJ Styles will be walking down the WrestleMania entrance ramp again this year, and he’s expected to face off against Shane McMahon in Orlando, FL on April 2nd.

Kurt Angle is one man who AJ Styles wrestled quite a few times in Orlando thanks to his run with TNA. Angle is set to be inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame on March 31st and Styles says that Kurt is someone who he would love to wrestle in a WWE ring.

“I would love to get in the ring with Kurt Angle again. Whether or not that will ever happen, who knows. I’m very excited that he’s in the WWE Hall of Fame. I know how much this means to him, and it’s a big deal. Even when we were with a different company, he still talked about WWE so I know this is a big deal to Kurt Angle, and I’m very happy for him. And as far as other performers, I would love to have gotten into the ring with a bunch of them. But you know, that’s not gonna happen. I would certainly have been able to learn from some of them. And there are tonnes of them; too many to name. For me it’s not just the fact of getting in the ring with them, it’s about learning from them.”

Kurt Angle has been saying publicly that he hasn’t discussed plans for his return to the ring with WWE officials. However, he has also said that he believes he will be wrestling in a WWE ring again and he named AJ Styles, Seth Rollins and Roman Reigns as stars he would like to face.

Who would you rather see Kurt Angle face in WWE, AJ Styles, Seth Rollins or Roman Reigns? Sound off in the comments below.
