AJ Styles is currently set to defend his WWE Championship against Shinsuke Nakamura at WrestleMania 34 on Sunday, April 8, but after AJ was pulled from live events last weekend fans have been concerned for his health.
Despite the fact that he was pulled, Styles has downplayed the status of his injury, and he recently assured fans that he will be competing at WrestleMania.
“If my leg got cut off, I’d find a way to make it to WrestleMania,” Styles said during a recent interview. “So I think just to answer that question, I will be wrestling Shinsuke Nakamura at WrestleMania. Don’t worry about it. It’ll be fine.”
AJ Styles made his return to the ring during the WWE live event in Trenton, New Jersey on Saturday night, and he teamed with The New Day to take on Rusev, Aiden English, Chad Gable and Shelton Benjamin.
Styles only worked the last two minutes of the match, but he managed to pick up the win for his team after he put Aiden English away with the Phenomenal Forearm.
After the match AJ danced with The New Day.
