A few months ago AJ Styles was moved from Monday Night Raw to Friday Night SmackDown, and immediately rumors started to make the rounds in regards to why he switched brands.
AJ Styles later confirmed that he had issues with Paul Heyman stemming from the release of Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson, but it seems that he’s in a good place now.
The Phenomenal One addressed the rumors during a recent Twitch stream and noted that he currently has nothing to be unhappy about.
“I’m unhappy being Intercontinental Champion, I’m unhappy what? What do I have to be unhappy about? We all understood what happened [with Paul Heyman]. The problem with everything that happened is that the lie happened, the blatant lie. I don’t really want to harp on anyone anymore. What’s done is done.”
AJ Styles is currently set to defend his Intercontinental Championship against Jeff Hardy on Friday Night SmackDown this week, and there’s also speculation that the two stars will be facing off once again at the SummerSlam pay-per-view on Sunday.
Stay tuned for updates.
