AJ Styles Reacts To Fans Posting Offensive Images In WWE ThunderDome

WWE recently introduced ThunderDome to the world, and the state of the art structure allows virtual fans to appear on WWE programming via LED screens.

Unfortunately some fans have taken the opportunity to post offensive content, such as KKK imagery, and former WWE Intercontinental Champion AJ Styles addressed the offensive images during a recent Twitch stream.

Styles noted that he thinks some people just want a few seconds of fame, and that he’s looking forward to fans being allowed into shows again soon.

“We’re trying to do something cool and make it. I think the ThunderDome looks awesome, but you’re always going to have people that do something stupid. They’re always going to be there. They just can’t – they just want that 5 seconds, that 1 second of fame. ‘Oh, well let me post this.’ Like, what? It’s so dumb, but you aren’t able to evade something like that. There’s always going to be something like that. It’s a shame that that’s the way our world is. It’s a shame that we can’t have people ready to rock and come into the stadiums yet. Hopefully soon though, hopefully we’re getting there.”

Last week on WWE Friday Night SmackDown Styles dropped the Intercontinental Championship to Jeff Hardy, so it will be interesting to see if a rematch is set up on this week’s show. Stay tuned for updates.
