Shane McMahon has been feuding with Sami Zayn and Kevin Owens for months, and his feud has driven a wedge between him and SmackDown Live General Manager Daniel Bryan. But Bryan, Zayn, Owens and McMahon aren’t the only ones who have had to deal with this feud.
WWE Champion AJ Styles has found himself caught right in the middle of everyone’s issues, but he assumed he was done with Zayn and Owens after he defended his title against both men in a handicap match at the Royal Rumble.
However, that’s not the case as it was announced on SmackDown Live this week that AJ will defend his belt against Zayn and Owens in a triple threat match at the Fastlane pay-per-view next month.
Earlier today Shane McMahon made another huge change to the title match when he announced that it will be a fatal 4 way, and Dolph Ziggler will face Baron Corbin on SmackDown to determine who will get the final spot.
One way or another, AJ doesn’t seem to mind as he took to Twitter to let the world know he’s confident he’ll be walking out with the belt.
The Wrestling Observer Newsletter reports that Jim Ross is currently in talks with two different companies and is searching for a new home for his podcast, The Ross Report.
According to the report, it’s expected that Ross will be finalizing a deal shortly.
