We’re only a few weeks away from the annual WWE SummerSlam pay-per-view, and the card is starting to come together. It’s already been announced that Brock Lesnar will defend his title against Braun Strowman, Roman Reigns and Samoa Joe in a fatal 4-way, and Naomi will be defending her title against Natalya, with Alexa Bliss defending against Bayley.
The rest of the matches should start coming together soon, and fans are wondering where the current WWE United States Champion AJ Styles will land on the card. How AJ will fit into the SummerSlam picture remains to be seen, but one picture AJ Styles won’t be added to anytime soon is the SummerSlam poster.
AJ Styles has had some bad luck with posters for big WWE events, as he’s often pushed to the back of the poster, and this time around he was left off the SummerSlam poster completely.
A fan decided to ask AJ Styles how he feels about being left off the poster given the fact that he’s a champion in WWE.
AJ just responded by saying the poster is set up to sell tickets.
Even though there’s a long list of reasons why AJ Styles should probably be included in this poster, the US Champion doesn’t seem to mind. Now if he ends up getting left off the card, then AJ Styles fans will definitely have a reason to be upset.
On this week’s episode of Still Real Radio, we’re talking about the fallout from Battleground, including the Great Khali’s return, and our thoughts on the Punjabi Prison match. We’re also talking about AJ Styles’ big US Title win, Chris Jericho’s surprise return on SmackDown Live, and the road to SummerSlam. New episodes of Still Real Radio are available every Wednesday.
