AJ Styles has worked with some of the biggest names in the business, and back in September of 2019 he crossed paths with “Stone Cold” Steve Austin during a dark segment following Raw at Madison Square Garden.
During the segment Steve Austin offered AJ Styles a beer, and during a recent appearance on Busted Open Radio, Karl Anderson revealed that The Phenomenal One wasn’t thrilled about the taste.
“When we got to do The Garden and the dark main event — this is a good story. We’re in there with ‘Stone Cold; Steve Austin, me, Gallows, and AJ [Styles]. ‘Stone Cold’ hands AJ a beer.
AJ doesn’t drink, and AJ looks at us and AJ goes, ‘shall I drink this?’ and I go, ‘yeah, just have a sip.’ He takes the sip, he takes the Stunner, and people react. We get to the back and he looks at us and he goes, ‘you guys lied to me. That is the worst thing I’ve ever tasted in my life! How do y’all drink those things?’”
AJ Styles was recently defeated by Edge at WrestleMania 38, but it seems that his feud with the Hall of Famer is far from over. Stay tuned for more updates on The Phenomenal One as they become available.
