Earlier today PWInsider reported that AJ Styles didn’t wrestle at this week’s SmackDown tapings because he’s dealing with nagging injuries. It’s now being reported that AJ Styles has been pulled from this weekend’s WWE live events. He was originally being advertised for Friday’s live event in Greenville, SC, Saturday’s live event in Raleigh, NC and Sunday’s show in Columbia, SC. The word is that AJ Styles is being given time off because WWE officials want him ready and healthy for his title match with Roman Reigns at Extreme Rules on May 22nd.
WWE has uploaded footage from the Cruiserweight Classic Qualifying Matches that took place at EVOLVE 61. The clips feature TJ Perkins vs. Fred Yehi and Drew Gulak vs. Tracy Williams. You can check out clips from both matches below.
