The John Cena/AJ Styles rivalry has been going on for months now and it’s been one of the most intense rivalries of both men’s careers.
AJ Styles got a big win over John Cena, with a little help from The Club, at Money in the Bank back in June. Cena then got the pin on Styles in a six man tag-team match at WWE Battleground in July.
John Cena and AJ Styles faced off once again in a singles match at WWE SummerSlam, and it was AJ Styles who got the victory.
The end came when Cena went for the AA, but AJ reversed it into the Styles Clash. AJ Styles then followed up with a Phenomenal Forearm for the win.
After the match AJ Styles left then the cameras focused on Cena in the ring. John Cena received a standing ovation from the crowd then he took off one of his armbands, left it in the middle of the ring then headed for the back.
