AJ Styles recently talked to the Wrestling Observer about his career, plans for the future and more. During the interview AJ was asked if he’s interested in signing with WWE.
Styles said that he’s really enjoying working with NJPW, but if WWE made him an offer that he couldn’t refuse, he would have to listen.
He went on to talk about his future in wrestling saying that he thinks 42 is a good age for retirement. He said the following:
“At 42, that’ll be 20 years for me. I think that’s a good stopping point, if I make it. You never know what will happen next. Blowing out my knee at this point in my career could be career-ending. I was planning on retiring early, but apparently IUDs don’t work for my wife.”
