AJ Styles On How WWE Is Different Now That Vince McMahon Is Gone

WWE has gone through some major changes over the last few years and for the first time in decades Vince McMahon is no longer part of the company. Triple H officially took over creative in 2022 and WWE seems to be entering a new era.

While speaking on the Battleground podcast AJ Styles noted that he wishes more guys who might have been hesitant to join the company before would give WWE another look.

“I wish more guys, who I think would do well in WWE, who may have been afraid as far as past things [that] have happened with Vince [McMahon] being there — I wish that they would understand that WWE is in this for the long run. We’re talking about 10 years on Netflix, possibly 20 years. That’s a long time. We’re not going anywhere.”

The Phenomenal One also shared some insight regarding how Triple H views talent on the WWE roster while indicating that The Game tries to emphasize their strengths.

“This isn’t the same WWE that Vince was in charge of. I really believe that Triple H looks at our talent and goes, ‘Alright, let’s get them better, or let’s find ways to bring out the best in them rather than show off the worst.'”

AJ Styles will compete on the Grandest Stage of Them All once again this year as he is currently set to face off against LA Knight at WrestleMania 40 next month.
