AJ Styles has been lucky enough to have a long career in the professional wrestling business, and The Phenomenal One has managed to capture championships all over the world.
Recently AJ Styles has been making appearances in NXT, and during this week’s episode he managed to defeat Grayson Waller in a singles match. Following the match Styles discussed his brief run with NXT 2.0 and he noted that he could see himself working with up and coming talents when he hangs up the boots for good.
“I gotta admit, I love being down here. I could see myself, when my career is finally over, coming down here and working with some of these young athletes. The men and women here are ready and eager to learn, and I think that’s a positive thing for the WWE going forward,”
AJ Styles was also asked if this week’s appearance was the last time fans will see him in NXT 2.0 and he offered the following response: “This is WWE. Never say never.”
One way or another it sounds like AJ Styles still has a few more years of in-ring competition ahead of him as it was recently reported that he signed a new deal with WWE and you can get more on that here.
