Tonight’s episode WWE SmackDown Live is set to take place from the Mohegan Sun Arena in Uncasville, CT, and the blue brand will continue to build up WrestleMania 33.
Coming out of last week’s show, everyone is wondering about AJ Styles’ status as a SmackDown Live superstar, because after he put Shane McMahon’s head through a car window, General Manager Daniel Bryan fired him. However, Shane McMahon issued a challenge to AJ Styles for a match at WrestleMania at the end of the show, so it created a lot of confusion. One way or another, we will hopefully be getting some answers tonight.
The Usos got a big win over American Alpha last week, and apparently it was enough to earn them a title shot, because they’ll be facing the team once again this week and the SmackDown Tag Team Titles will be on the line.
Stars being advertised for this week’s episode include WWE Champion Bray Wyatt, Intercontinental Champion Dean Ambrose, John Cena, Randy Orton, SmackDown Women’s Champion Alexa Bliss, AJ Styles, The Miz, Becky Lynch, Luke Harper and more.
