AJ Styles Busted Open At WWE Backlash

AJ Styles and Shinsuke Nakamura have been feuding for months, but after Shinsuke failed to win the WWE Championship at WrestleMania 34, he turned heel and hit AJ with a low blow.

The low blow has become one of Shinsuke Nakamura’s favorite moves as of late, but everything was legal on Sunday night when AJ Styles defended his WWE Championship against Shinsuke in a no disqualification match at Backlash.

At one point during the match, a chair was brought into the ring, and Shinsuke dropped Styles on the chair when he hit him with the reverse exploder suplex.

Nakamura then went to the corner to prepare for the Kinshasa. When he charged at Styles, AJ picked up the chair and threw it at Nakamura’s knee, then the chair bounced off Nakamura’s knee and hit AJ in the face.

The chair ended up busting Styles open the hard way, and he was bleeding from his cheek throughout the match.

The low blow was also used during the match, not only by Nakamura, but by AJ Styles as well.

After Nakamura delivered a low blow at one point, AJ countered with a low blow of his own.

Later in the match the low blow was used once again when both men ran into one another and kicked each other below the belt at the same time.

They both fell to the mat, and the referee called for the bell and declared the match a no contest after Styles and Nakamura failed to get back to their feet by the count of 10.
