Business picked up for the WWE roster on Friday Night SmackDown this week as night 1 of the WWE Draft kicked off. Triple H made his way out to announce the first four picks and then Rob Van Dam representing Raw and Michael Hayes representing SmackDown revealed the next four picks for the second round. The following names were drafted in the first two rounds:
Roman Reigns, Solo Sikoa, Paul Heyman – SmackDown
Cody Rhodes – Raw
Bianca Belair – SmackDown
Becky Lynch – Raw
The Street Profits – SmackDown
Imperium – Raw
Edge – SmackDown
Matt Riddle – Raw
The third round continued as JBL came out to the podium to represent SmackDown and Teddy Long came out to represent Raw. JBL announced that Bobby Lashley was the first pick for the third round and he would be going to SmackDown. Teddy Long then announced that Drew McIntyre would be drafted to Raw.
John Bradshaw Layfield announced that AJ Styles would be going to SmackDown along with the rest of The O.C. including Michin. The Miz was then confirmed for Raw by Teddy Long.
