Aiden English was being featured in a prominent spot on SmackDown when he was aligned with Rusev, but he has since been doing other things.
After his storyline with Rusev wrapped up Aiden English stopped appearing on WWE programming, and he has since started working as a commentator for 205 Live.
It’s been a while since fans have seen English in the ring, but when a fan asked him if he’s retired from in-ring competition he had a simple response when he replied by saying, “Nope.”
English signed a WWE developmental contract in 2012, and he went on to find success when he formed The Vaudevillains with Simon Gotch in NXT. They captured the NXT Tag Team Titles and eventually made it to the main roster, but the team split up when Gotch was released in 2017.
He then went on to align himself with Rusev before eventually turning on The Bulgarian Brute.
English joined 205 Live as a commentator in January of 2019.
