Goldberg returned to the world of professional wrestling a few years ago, and since then he’s had a successful run that has included two Universal Championship reigns in WWE.
There’s no denying that the WWE Hall of Famer has star power, and Jim Cornette recently noted that Tony Khan was interested in bringing Goldberg to All Elite Wrestling.
According to Cornette, Khan wanted to set Goldberg up to do the streak all over again.
“Goldberg was huge on Tony Khan’s want list. He wanted Goldberg to come out and do the streak over again. I mentioned how much you think he’s gonna charge for a 30-second job match? Probably the same as a main event PPV match.”
At this point in time there’s currently no indication that Goldberg will be heading to AEW, but Tony Khan has said in the past that he likes Goldberg a lot.
Goldberg last wrestled at WrestleMania 36 where he dropped the Universal Championship to Braun Strowman.
