AEW World Title Match Announced For Fight For The Fallen

Professional wrestling companies around the world have had to make some major adjustments due to the coronavirus pandemic, and AEW has been taping their weekly television show from Daily’s Place in Jacksonville, Florida.

AEW recently announced that Fyter Fest would be a two week event, and Fyter Fest kicked off this week on TNT.

Originally it was announced that Jon Moxley would be defending the AEW World Championship against Brian Cage during Fyter Fest, but that match has been nixed.

This week it was announced that Jon Moxley will defend the AEW World Championship against Cage at Fight For The Fallen on July 15.

It’s worth noting that Jon Moxley’s wife, Renee Young, recently confirmed that she has tested positive for COVID-19, so Mox has been out of action as a precaution.
