Over the weekend the AEW All Out pay-per-view aired live from Toronto and it was revealed that Tony Khan would be making a big announcement on Dynamite.
When it came time for the announcement Tony said that AEW has some of the best wrestlers in the world, and he believes that AEW is truly where the best wrestle. Khan continued as he said that he’s proud of how strong the women’s division has been in 2025, and soon the first ever AEW Women’s Tag Team Champions will be crowned. Khan didn’t reveal when the new champions would be crowned, but said that it will happen this year before turning things over to Renee Paquette.
Renee Paquette then unveiled the new AEW Women’s Tag Team Championship belts which can be seen below.

The AEW Women’s Tag Team Titles have been rumored for some time and now the belts have officially been added to the roster. Stay tuned for more updates on how the inaugural champions will be crowned as they become available.
