Part of the excitement of watching a professional wrestling show is that the events are usually live, but in recent weeks AEW and WWE have had to air taped shows due to the coronavirus pandemic.
WWE recently went live again, and now it appears that AEW will also be going live.
The Wrestling Observer Newsletter reports that the current plan is for AEW to go live again in a few weeks. The company has several weeks worth of tape footage, and things could change at any point due to circumstances, but the plan is to return to Daily’s Place in Jacksonville, FL for live shows on 5/6.
It’s expected that starting on 5/6 AEW programming will start making a hard push for the Double or Nothing pay-per-view on 5/23.
AEW expects to have twice as much talent available for the next tapings, and the shows are set to focus on talents who will be featured on Double or Nothing.
