AEW Title Belt Gets Name Change

This week’s episode of AEW Dynamite kicked off in a big way as Orange Cassidy successfully defended the AEW All Atlantic Championship against Jay Lethal. After the match Cassidy was attacked by Jeff Jarrett, and it was also announced later in the show that the All Atlantic Championship will be going through some major changes.

Tony Khan appeared in a backstage segment and he announced that not only will Orange Cassidy defend the belt against Jeff Jarrett next week in Winnipeg, but that the title belt will also be renamed the AEW International Championship.

That’s not the only big match that was announced for next week as it was confirmed that House of Black will defend the AEW World Trios Championship against The Elite and the Jericho Appreciation Society.

It seems that AEW is stacking the deck for next week’s episode of Dynamite, so stay tuned for more updates on the episode as they become available.
