The AEW tag team division has been heating up over the last few months and The Acclaimed have found themselves at the top of the ladder. The Acclaimed are the current AEW Tag Team Champions and they successfully defended the belts against Swerve In Our Glory at Full Gear on Saturday night.
During the match Swerve handed Keith Lee a pair of plyers and he wanted him to use them on Anthony Bowens. However, Keith Lee refused and he threw the plyers down.
Swerve Strickland did not approve of Keith Lee getting rid of the weapon, so he slapped his tag team partner. Keith Lee responded by walking out on Swerve and he watched from the top of the ramp as The Acclaimed picked up the win.
Tension between Swerve and Keith Lee has been teased for some time now, but it appears that they are finally done and likely to feud with one another following Full Gear.
