Over the last few years fans have seen a number of former WWE stars jump to AEW, but now it seems that WWE has interest in adding some current AEW wrestlers to their roster.
The Wrestling Observer Newsletter is reporting that there’s been a lot of talk about Rush’s status as it’s believed that AEW has made a very strong offer to keep him with the company. However, it’s also being said that his future is in question.
Both WWE and AEW are interested in the former ROH World Champion and the offer from AEW is said to be far bigger than what anyone in NXT is currently getting with the exception of Gable Steveson.
The belief is that WWE would have to offer main roster money to Rush if they wanted to be in the same ballpark compared to what AEW is offering him with the new deal. At this point it’s not known which company Rush will be signing with, so it will be interesting to see where he goes from here. Stay tuned for updates.
