Since All Elite Wrestling first launched in 2019 a number of stars have signed with the company. Recently there’s been a lot of talk about Chris Jericho’s deal with AEW possibly expiring at the end of the year, and it looks like another AEW star also has a contract that’s set to expire sooner than later.
Fightful Select is reporting that the belief is Anna Jay’s contract with All Elite Wrestling is up in the next few months. As of right now there’s no word on whether or not negotiations have taken place regarding a new deal, but a source at AEW noted that they expect the company to try to retain Anna Jay.
It was also noted that Anna Jay enjoys teaming with Tay Melo in AEW, but is also said to be open to exploring other options for her career including potential free agency.
Anna Jay first signed with AEW in 2020 and she went on to join notable stables such as The Dark Order and The Jericho Appreciation Society. Recently she has been working in the women’s tag team division alongside Tay Melo, but the duo were eliminated from the AEW Women’s Tag Team Championship Tournament during this week’s episode of Collision.
