Tonight’s episode of AEW Dynamite took place from the Little Caesars Arena in Detroit, MI and the show put the Blood & Guts match in the spotlight. Christian Cage also made his way out for an interview with Tony Schiavone, and Christian was asked if he wanted to apologize for making negative comments about Jungle Boy’s father.
However, Christian doubled down on the heel heat and said that he wishes Jungle Boy’s whole family was dead, except for his mother who he encouraged to call him.
Cage then said that he did indeed request a match this week, but it wasn’t for him, and then he introduced Luchasaurus. The former AEW Tag Team Champion made his way out into the arena to new entrance music while wearing all black attire. Luchasaurus then proceeded to destroy Serpentico in a quick squash match.
Christian Cage turned on Jungle Boy on the 6/15 episode of Dynamite after Jungle Boy & Luchasaurus lost the AEW World Tag Team Titles. Cage then completed his heel turn last week when he cut a scathing promo on Jungle Boy, and it seems that Luchasaurus has aligned himself with Cage.
