AEW has signed quite a few wrestlers since the company launched in 2019, but in recent months a number of them have teased that they’re unhappy with the company. Andrade El Idolo has seemingly been teasing his departure from AEW on social media, and his posts have gotten people talking.
This week on AEW Rampage, Dark Order’s 10 will face off against Andrade El Idolo, and if Andrade loses he will have to leave AEW. If 10 loses he will have to take off his mask, and ahead of the match he posted the following on Twitter:
“Next week we show the world what Friends In Dark Places is all about. If you don’t wanna be here get the fuck out. Now that’s cowboy shit. #AEW #DarkOrder #X #HandPicked #FriendsInDarkPlaces #CowboyShit #AEWDynamite #AEWRampage”
Rumors of Andrade’s AEW departure have been making the rounds, and it was recently reported that more than one AEW star requested to be released. Whether or not those requests will be granted remains to be seen. Stay tuned for more updates as they become available.
