It’s been a few weeks since fans have seen Darby Allin on AEW programming as he was written off TV during the final episode of AEW Rampage when Jon Moxley threw him down a flight of stairs.
Fightful Select is reporting that Darby Allin is currently taking a leave of absence from All Elite Wrestling. The former TNT Champion is training to climb Mt. Everest and he is not set to return for a few months.
The word going around internally is that Darby Allin is set for a push when he makes his return to television. As of right now the expectation is that he will be back at some point in the spring.
Darby Allin last competed inside an AEW ring when he faced off against Ricochet in a Continental Classic match on 12/22/24. The match ended in a time limit draw.
