There are a number of AEW stars who are currently absent from TV at the moment, and one of them happens to be Saraya. The former AEW Women’s Champion hasn’t appeared on AEW programming since the October 8th episode of AEW Dynamite when she competed in a four way match, but she appears to be doing just fine.
Recently the American Reality TV Awards, The Buzz caught up with Saraya and she confirmed that she’s simply taking a little break from All Elite Wrestling at the moment.
“So, I’m in AEW now, which is All Elite Wrestling. I’m taking a little break right now though so I can do more of this stuff again. Because I haven’t been on a red carpet in a minute, but it’s nice to be back.”
Saraya first debuted with All Elite Wrestling at Grand Slam in 2022. She went on to win the AEW Women’s Championship at the first ever All In pay-per-view in 2023. Currently she is signed to a deal that will keep her with the company through September of 2025.
