This week’s episode of AEW Dynamite featured a big title match as Davis and Doyle challenged FTR for the AEW World Tag Team Championship. Unfortunately for Davis and Doyle it was FTR who walked out with the gold, and it’s now being reported that Jake Doyle suffered an injury during the match.
At one point during the match Cash Wheeler hit Jake Doyle with a DDT on the apron and Doyle could be heard telling Wheeler that he tore his bicep after. Bryan Alvarez of the Wrestling Observer is reporting that the injury has been confirmed.
Jake Something appears to have suffered a legit injury during this spot tonight.

Jake Doyle recently signed with AEW after finishing up with TNA Wrestling and he joined the Don Callis Family. Doyle then went on to form a tag team with fellow Don Callis Family stablemate Mark Davis.
As of this writing neither AEW nor Jake Doyle have released any type of statement regarding the injury.
