AEW Star Signs New Multi-Year Deal With The Company

All Elite Wrestling recently launched a new show titled Collision last month, and fans have seen some familiar faces at the commentary table including Ian Riccaboni

Fightful Select is reporting that Ian Riccaboni has signed a multi-year deal with AEW. Riccaboni served as the play-by-play announcer for ROH and the plan is for him to work several AEW Collision dates this summer. He recently worked the July 15th episode of Collision and reportedly was praised for his work backstage.

Ian Riccaboni’s contract is one of the last original ROH contracts that lasted through the acquisition. It was noted that Riccaboni was offered a role on Collision full-time, but he recommended Kevin Kelly for the spot as he wanted to prioritize his family instead of taking on the full-time role.

Moving forward Ian Riccaboni is set to call the next four episodes of AEW Collision and he will fill in for Kevin Kelly and Excalibur when they need time off. It was also noted that he has mostly been doing commentary for ROH remotely.
