The All Elite Wrestling roster is filled with many familiar faces, but one name fans haven’t seen on TV in a while is Miro. The former TNT Champion only wrestled a few matches for AEW in 2022 and there’s currently no word on when he could be back on TV.
The Wrestling Observer Newsletter reports that there was an idea pitched to Miro in September leading into the Full Gear pay-per-view. It was noted that Miro turned down an idea that would have seen him lose a battle royal where he and Adam Page were the last two competitors.
Tony Khan said that after the pay-per-view they would try to get back, but according to the report Miro’s name has not been mentioned since. It also looks like Miro will be locked in with AEW for the foreseeable future as he still has three years left on his contract with the company.
Miro last competed in an AEW ring at the All Out pay-per-view in September of 2022. He teamed with Sting & Darby Allin to defeat the House of Black at the event. Stay tuned for more updates on Miro’s status as they become available.
