Back in 2019 when All Elite Wrestling first launched a number of notable names signed with the company including The Lucha Bros. The former AEW Tag Team Champions have been with the company from the beginning, but it was recently reported that Penta’s contract has officially expired.

Following the expiration of Penta’s contract with AEW he has officially been removed from the roster page on AEW’s website. This means that Penta is now free to work anywhere he wants.

Over the last few months there’s been a lot of talk about WWE being interested in The Lucha Bros. It was rumored that they would both be heading to WWE once their contracts expired, but Rey Fenix is still with AEW as the company added injury time to his deal. There’s currently no word on whether or not WWE will be looking to sign Penta now that he’s a free agent.

Stay tuned for updates on Penta’s status as they become available.
