It’s always unfortunate when a wrestler suffers an injury during a match. Recently Dalton Castle was injured during his match with Roderick Strong during the July 13 episode of AEW Collision as Castle was knocked out after taking a flying knee strike from Strong. Now it seems that he will be sidelined for a significant amount of time.
Tony Khan recently took to social media to announce that Dalton Castle will be out of action for the remainder of 2024. Khan also noted that Dalton Castle’s injury has forced him to make changes to original plans for the ROH Death Before Dishonor pay-per-view.
“Some injury news that’s forced changes to the plans for this Friday’s #ROHDBD Death Before Dishonor
@theDALTONcastle was injured in his Saturday Night #AEWCollision bout last week vs
@roderickstrong.
Sadly Dalton will be out of action for the remainder of 2024. Get well soon DC”
