You never know who might make an appearance on AEW Dynamite and this week a former TNT Champion returned to in-ring competition. Recent AEW signing Johnny Elite made his way out to the ring for an open challenge that was answered by none other than Miro.
After Johnny Elite made his entrance a prerecorded video played which featured Miro declaring that The Redeemer is back. Miro then made his way out into the arena.
Miro was aggressive throughout the match and he ended up putting Johnny Elite away after hitting the pump kick and locking in his Game Over submission hold.
Prior to his return Miro last competed at the AEW Full Gear pay-per-view back in November of 2021 where he was defeated by Bryan Danielson. God’s Favorite Champion then took time off due to injury, but during his time away it was confirmed that he signed a four year contract extension that will keep him with AEW through 2026.
